This short and scenic trek is perfect for beginner hikers or those with limited time. You will trek through the lush rainforest of Mount Rinjani to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m)—a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking Segara Anak Lake and the summit of Rinjani. Enjoy a night under the stars with a spectacular sunset and sunrise, then return to Senaru the next day.
📅 Itinerary
Day 1: Senaru Village – Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m)

Early pick-up from your hotel (around 6:00 AM)

Breakfast and trek briefing at our base in Senaru

Start the trek through tropical rainforest

Short breaks at Pos 1, Pos 2, and Pos 3 along the trail

Spot monkeys, birds, and native plants along the way

Arrive at Pelawangan Senaru (Senaru Crater Rim) in the afternoon

Set up camp with stunning views over the crater and Segara Anak Lake

Enjoy sunset, dinner, and overnight in tents
Day 2: Crater Rim – Senaru Village

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over Mount Rinjani
